One Year-Old Vintage Session with Evan

I was so excited when Nicole contacted me for a vintage session with her youngest son Evan. She had photographs done at the 1 year mark for both of her older boys; however, the photographer she used was no longer in business. I am so grateful she found me on Google!

Photographing a 1 year old can be very challenging. They love to explore and they have no patience for sitting still for the camera. We were lucky to receive Evan’s cooperation on and off during the session the in order to capture some great, authentic shots of him - like the one below.

Patience is the key to capturing fun and authentic images of little ones and, giving them something to do. We grabbed our old carriage and loaded it with Evan’s bears, then had him push the carriage back and forth on the set. It kept him busy and interested long enough to grab these images…

I thoroughly enjoyed this family and photographing Evan at such a precious time in his life. I hope their family enjoys these images for years to come. I look forward to having all three of the Corral boys in the studio for a family session!
