Hi! I’m Cynthia Bullard, the owner and photographer at Cynthia Bullard Photography.

Based in Ventura County, California, I’ve had the pleasure of helping families capture generational images for more than 30 years. I know, I don’t look that old right?! I got started in photography shortly after high school when I signed up for a black-and-white film class at Ventura College. As soon as I picked up my manual Pentax camera, loaded the film, and started taking images, I was hooked!

My passion for photography started long before I picked up a camera. I remember sitting on the floor at my grandmother’s house as a young girl flipping through albums of old photos. Those old photos fascinated me! When my mother died in a car accident at age 38, I realized that our family had very few photos of her as an adult. I am on a mission to never let that happen to another family because you will never know how important your images are until they are the only thing that you have left.
