Layers, flowy fabrics, and personal style details always add something special.

Bring 1–2 outfit options if you'd like some variety, and feel free to include something sentimental — a meaningful jacket, a piece of jewelry, something that's just the two of you.

For outdoor sessions, I monitor weather closely in the days leading up to your session. Southern California generally cooperates and we rarely get rain. But if conditions are very poor we'll reschedule at no extra cost — I want your images to be everything you imagined.

Please keep in mind that we do not reschedule due to overcast skies or fog. This is very typical coastal weather throughout the year in Southern California and overcast days can actually produce beautifully soft, flattering light. We may miss out on the colors of the coastal sunset, but the images will still be beautiful!

I love the light of golden hour — the hour before sunset — produces the most stunning, romantic light, especially on the coast. I schedule most outdoor sessions around this window. If a specific time of day doesn't work for you, overcast mornings can also produce beautifully soft, flattering light without harsh shadows.

Most engagement sessions take 1about an hour — enough time for a relaxed, unhurried experience, a location transition if desired, and a variety of looks and moods. I never rush.

Absolutely — dogs make for some of the most joyful, personality-filled images. Bring their leash and favorite treats, and we'll work them in naturally. Outdoor sessions are perfect for including pets.
