The Boudoir Experience

A Boudoir Session is more than just a photo shoot—it’s a celebration of you. From the moment you step into the studio, you’ll be welcomed into a luxurious, judgment-free space where you're treated like royalty. We’ll chat, laugh, and get to know each other so you feel completely at ease. I’ll guide you through flattering poses that highlight your beauty, strength, and personality—whether you want sultry and sophisticated, playful and fun, or all of the above.

With 30 years of experience behind the camera, my goal is to bring out your confidence and capture you at your very best. Every detail—from lighting and wardrobe to music and mood—is tailored to make you feel empowered, comfortable, and radiant. By the end, you’ll walk away feeling like a total goddess with stunning, timeless images to match.

A Boudoir Session can be a transformative experience—many clients leave the studio standing taller, feeling prouder, and seeing themselves in a whole new light. By the time you leave the studio, you'll feel a spark of confidence that wasn't there before-Boudoir has a beautiful way of changing how you see yourself.

Why would I want to have Boudoir Photos taken?

There are so many beautiful, empowering, and meaningful reasons someone might want boudoir photos. Here’s a list of just a few!

  • Just Because You Deserve It. No milestone needed—sometimes the most powerful reason is simply to celebrate you.

  • To Boost Confidence. It’s an amazing thing to see yourself through a new lens. A boudoir session can help you feel empowered, sexy, and beautifully you.

  • As a Gift for Your Partner. Whether it’s for a wedding, anniversary, birthday, or holiday—boudoir photos make an unforgettable (and very personal) gift.

  • To Celebrate a Milestone. Turning 30, 40, 50+? Getting married, divorced, or finally putting you first? Boudoir is a perfect way to mark life’s turning points.

  • Bridal Boudoir. Capture your pre-wedding glow and surprise your partner with a sultry keepsake on your wedding day.

  • After a Transformation. Whether it’s weight loss, fitness goals, or emotional growth—commemorate your journey and how far you’ve come.

  • A Confidence Reboot Post-Baby. Boudoir can help you reconnect with your body and remind yourself that you’re still you—fierce, feminine, and strong.

  • To Celebrate Your Femininity. Because owning your sensuality is a form of self-love, and every woman deserves to feel beautiful in her own skin.

  • To Create Legacy Art. Yes, even boudoir images can be timeless, elegant keepsakes—reminders of your power, beauty, and boldness.

  • For the Fun of It. It’s an unforgettable experience—full of glam, giggles, and a whole lot of confidence-building. You’ll leave with amazing images and even better memories.

When is the Best Time to Take Boudoir Photos?

The best time to book your boudoir session is at least 4–6 weeks before you need your final images or album. This allows plenty of time for your session, image selection, retouching, and product delivery—especially if you're gifting your photos for a special occasion like a wedding, anniversary, or birthday.

Planning ahead also gives you time to prepare mentally, choose your outfits, and schedule any beauty appointments like hair, nails, or a wax (if that’s your thing). If you're booking your session just for you (and we love that!), any time is the right time to celebrate yourself.

What to Wear (or not Wear) for Your Boudoir Session

The right wardrobe can elevate the entire boudoir experience and help you feel confident, comfortable, and stunning. Here’s a list of clothing options with a mix of classic, romantic, playful, and bold styles if you’d like to bring your own:

  • Classic Lingerie Sets. Matching bra and panty sets in lace, satin, or mesh—always a timeless choice. Choose colors that complement your skin tone and feel good to wear.

  • Bodysuits or Teddies. These are super flattering on all body types, especially with sheer panels, plunging necklines, or open backs.

  • Oversized Button-Down Shirt. A crisp white shirt (or your partner’s shirt!) adds a flirty, relaxed vibe. Bonus: It’s great for clients who want to feel covered but still sexy.

  • Team Jerseys and Team Apparel. Does your partner love baseball, football or another sport. Steal their official jersey for your session!

  • Corsets or Bustiers. These create beautiful shape and offer a more structured, vintage-inspired look.

  • Slips or Lingerie Dresses. Sheer or satin slips offer a romantic, understated sensuality—great for those who want a softer touch.

  • High-Waisted Panties + Bralettes. A retro and curve-loving combo that’s comfortable and chic.

  • Cozy Looks. Think off-the-shoulder sweaters, knee-high socks, or soft lounge sets. These create a more playful, “girl-next-door” vibe.

  • Statement Pieces. Leather jackets or thigh-high boots—perfect for clients who want to turn up the boldness.

  • Nothing at All (or Almost Nothing). Draped sheets, strategically placed hands, or implied nude shots are stunning and tastefully done with the right lighting and posing.

  • Explore my Client Closet. I have a small selection of body suits, teddies, panties, and bras for you to choose from! Oh, and don’t forget a gorgeous set of ostrich wings to enhance the experience!

Choosing the Right Location

Most clients feel more secure and less nervous in a Studio setting because of the privacy the Studio offers. However, if your vision takes you to the beach, field or any outdoor location, I’m all in! The benefits of the Studio are:

  • Controlled lighting and temperature (especially nice in extreme weather).

  • Access to studio wardrobe, outfit changes, props, and backdrops.

  • Private. Need I say more?

  • Clothing Changes. Changing outfits is much easier in the studio and you have access to a private bathroom.

Getting Ready for Your Boudoir Photo Session

  • Professional Hair and Makeup. I highly recommend you indulge in having your hair and makeup professionally done! I work with an artist who will come to the studio to prepare you for your session. Trust me! It is worth the extra pampering!

  • Plan Your Wardrobe in Advance. Choose pieces that make you feel confident and fit your body well. Try everything on including shoes and accessories. Bring 3-5 outfits.

  • Skip Tight Elastic. These items can be uncomfortable and will leave marks on your skin.

  • Grooming Matters. Get a haircut or touch-up a few days in advance. Be sure to shave or wax. Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure. Nail polish should be all on or all off.

  • Rest Up the Night Before. A good night’s sleep will help reduce puffiness and make you look refreshed and energized in your photos.

  • Stay Hydrated & Avoid Excess Alcohol. Hydration helps your skin glow, and avoiding excess alcohol the night before can help reduce redness and bloating. Plus, a hangover is no fun!

  • Relax—You’re in Good Hands. You don’t need to worry about posing. I’ll guide you every step of the way so you feel confident and look your best.

There’s no pressure at all—we’ll take the time to design something beautiful together, and you can move forward at a pace that feels right for you. The best part is, we can begin ordering pieces as payments are made.
